Hey guys...JoystickGirl here!!
I guess you have noticed that I redecorated the blog!It's a summer decoration.This time I wanted something sweet and calm, not bright pinks and yellows like last time!So we now got new colours and banners with cool hair...They're actually graphics I made myself, I hope you like them.
For you who read the blog, you might have noticed that two of our readers have not been active...Collectorcentre and nikser.I had to let nikser go, but no fighting or anything and I have contacted collectorcentre-hope she received my message- to keep sending us articles-or there will be just me and eem7!
Oh and one more thing...This is my last free week.Next Wensday my final school exams will begin and I have a LOT of studying to do...That's the reason why I won't be able to post much in the next few weeks.But I'll come back completly free and ready for the summer!!

IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU ARE WEARING, BUT HOW IT LOOKS
I was just chatting with Joystickgirl. We were talking about my outfit. She said she loved it. I was wearing like two dresses, one shirt and a vest. I told her this. She said: “It doesn’t matter what you are wearing, it matters how it looks”.

I decided to make an article about this. Then I made especially for you an outfit which you can buy in the starplaza. It is an easy one to put on:

- Antidote Pop Floral skinny jeans (Still in the store! You got to have one antidote!)
- Pretty in Pink Floral skirt (So pretty!)
- Bisou multi print tube dress (Easy to combinate!)
- Vivienne Tam Floral Applique coat (On sale for have the old prize!)
- Pretty in Pink Ankle Band Sandal

I know it is a little pit expensive but so pretty!

Oh, don’t forget to put the skirt really low, so that the little flowers just show up beneath the dress.

The outfit looks really pretty with blond hair and PINK lipstick!

Try to combinate an outfit for yourself, or just buy mine. :P

Today, I went to logg in to stardoll, and they have changed the way the sign-in system looks!

First you select a style(?), and then nickname etc

Then you customize ur medoll

Then there's an advertising(original stardoll)

Then u are redirected to ur suite, where a big present waits for you, along with the outfit you have selected!That is the only nice part.

Well, has anyone else noticed that there is a growing Alexander McQueen theme on Stardoll? If you follow Underneath Stardoll, you will have seen a McQueen top in spoilers, and if you look closely, the poll on the Stardoll frontpage is McQueen based.

Could this be the dawn of an Alexander McQueen tribute shop (or something similar)? It seems as though Stardoll may have had the idea when looking at sales of Alexander McQueen clothes. As with many other celebrity deaths, sales of clothing items to do with the deceased soar through the roof, and it seems Stardoll may want a slice of these riches.

But, nevertheless, don't go thinking Stardoll came up with this idea on their own. No, no, my dear readers, I sent a suggestion to Stardoll, saying that they should perhaps release an Alexander McQueen tribute shop. You see, at the time, I was only really thinking about how much some Stardoll users may want to own a McQueen peice. I did think of the fact that Stardoll might eat up that idea, because it would most probably get them a lot of money. But I did not think of collectors (like me) who will lose a lot of money.

Alas, I was an idiot. Type in captial letters at me if you wish... But, if you do, just remember this, remember one thing, if it does happen, you heard it first from here...

I feel as though I've betrayed you all , especially Ms. Joystick!

My teachers decided they needed to give me more homework when I got back from the school holidays. I get 3 peices PER DAY (xO) that are meant to take me 1 hour each, but a lot of them end up taking me double that. So I kind of don't really have time for anything anymore. I used to be able to spend hours online, but now I can only spend at the very most 1 hour. And when I have my window of opportunity, it's too late...

Smart/Slightly Crazy Meets Positively Mental!

I decided to browse the Stardoll blogs that I only read every once in a while. I went to Stardoll's Most Hated, and discovered an article. People are selling their Stardoll rares on eBay!

This is fairly clever on the sellers behalf, but absolutely mental on the bidders'! Prices range from 10p, to a whopping £80! There are two sellers, and they are selling MKA RC, First Season DKNY such as Scuba, and old Hotbuys! And, the crazy thing is, people are bidding on them! A Hilary Duff dress is buy it now at £80 (thankfully no one is that crazy), and the current bid for the Dirty Dancing dress is £36.50! For a bunch of pixels? Please! I think my absolute maximum at any time would be £2!

(SHOCKING) UPDATE: I take that back. The Dirty Dancing dress is £19. Still a lot, right? An MKA RC jacket is £36.50. But, even more atrocious than that... DKNY Ruffle Skirt is £92! WHAT?! I think that is true mentality! I mean, hopefully, that is a scammer. I mean, it'd be bad for the seller, but no one in the right mind would soend that much on pixels!

Collectorcentre, you got my support(at least)

Today I received a really bad mail from our writer, collectorcentre (meaning bad news).She got scammed...She was to buy LE from a girl, RobyPat, and that girl STOLE 120 stardollars from her...

So this is a warning and a support post.Do not add this girl and never try trading anything with her.I would say report her, bur unfortunatly, only collectorcentre can do that, cuz she got proof...We could even get to lose our accounts...And of course, show you support to collectorcentre, amd at the same time show your support at all the other girls that got scammed while trading.I would say, we start writing in her guestbook "I know what you did to collectorcentre and I'm with her" this might actually bring her down.

Of course, I'd be happy to hear your stories or suggestions about safe trading...This could be an article for my upcoming magazine, "F", and you might be in it!!!!

I think the title says it all!
I just read the underneath stardoll magazines article and got sooo inspired...I really wanna try this, and we'll see how lucky I might be!

I've learnt to do stardoll graphics (hopefully) right away and I got so so many ideas!!!!

I just want to tell everyone, if they would like to write for the upcoming magazine or know someone that might want to, plz contact me in my guestbook (username:JoystickGirl just reminding).If you yourself are intrested, I'm gonna need:

1)Your real name(no bad reasons, just so I can credit you with your real name and username, I think it's better than just username) but plz dont give me surenames, it's kinda dangerous to give out your surename in the internet.

3)A first try-out article so I can chose the best.

I’m back, this time with an amazing designer, and good friend of mine, Sweetlus. Her name is Sabina, she creates the most popular Michael Jackson designs on Stardoll, and she is Balmain-sessed! She’s a talented, gracious, beautiful and generous girl, who is willing to ‘give her life for Michael Jackson’, and here is the interview with the shining star!

Hey Sabina! How did you first find out about Stardoll?
S: Hello! Well, it was very long time ago. I think two and a half years or something. I was on a website where Stardoll was advertised. I visited this site and I really liked it. I started to dress up dolls and I had a really fun time. Soon I realised I wanted to join and I did, and it was a very good thing to do!

How long have you been obsessed with Michael Jackson?
S: Haha! Well, I loved him when I was a little kid. I used to watch his music videos and I really liked him. His videos were my favourite movies! I have always liked him and his music but this year, I think, in January I started to realise how much I loved him. I played his music over and over again. I started to know more songs of him. So, lets say since I was about one year old!

When did you decide to put your two loves (Stardoll+Michael Jackson=fabulous designs) together?
S: Well, I made MJ designs before he was gone. But there wasn’t a doll of him when he was alive, and no posters and no T-shirts. So I decided that I would make my own MJ stuff! People wanted my designs, and so on…

How did you become so big? I mean, you’re visited once every half hour at the very least!
S: Oh, haha! I think when I started with the designs. I think I designed MJ designs before Michael was gone. I made a picture of his eyes and two t-shirts. And when he was gone people wanted me to make t-shirts and so on. People bought from me, and I was placed on the designer list. I have been second place and my designs have been "most popular designs". But I have also been in the CG list 3 times. But I don’t know. I think it’s because of the designs. But if you ask me, I don’t feel so famous! Some people are saying: "OMG, you are really famous on Stardoll!" But I have no idea how many people on Stardoll know who I am and know about my work.

What tips would you give to any aspiring designers? Could you share any of your secrets to creating such amazing and realistic designs?
S: Hmm, that’s a hard question to answer. I think people have always told me what an artist I am. I have been creative my whole life—I have always loved to draw and so on. Of course I think you can learn to design amazing designs. But I think some people have it as a gift to be creative. But I have seen so many different designers on Stardoll and they are all so amazing. But if you practise you will learn. I was very bad at the beginning, but I learned how it works and now it’s simple.

In your latest starblog entry, there is what seems to be a drawing of Michael Jackson. Did you draw this yourself?
S: Yes I did! I have, like, 10 drawings of him! He is my biggest project! Haha! I make graphics of him too…

Does it annoy you that after Michael was gone, everyone loved him, even if they didn't before?
S: Yes it does. It’s not respectful to say that they hated him when he was alive, but now he is dead, those same people are ‘fans’. I don’t think I can explain my thoughts but, as you said, it annoys me.

What do you think of the Migliukee scandal, and the girls that are seemingly following in her footsteps through the latest Stardoll competition?
S: To be honest, I don’t know much about it. I know the designs disappeared from the starplaza. But I’m sorry if I can’t answer that question correctly because I honestly don’t know much about it. But I liked the clothes, and I never had a chance to buy them.

Complete this sentence: when I’m older, I want to be…
S: An artist or a designer! I think I’m going to work with drawings, paintings and photoshop, and I love to design clothes. When I see all those amazing designers like Donna Karan, Coco Chanel and so on I feel like I want to be just like them. They have their own styles. I want my own creations to be seen on people, just like on Stardoll. I feel so happy every time I see a person wearing one of my t-shirts.

Thanks so much for the interview. Finally, is there anything you wouldn’t do for Michael Jackson?
S: Lets say this: I would do anything Michael wanted me to do!

I was browsing broadcasted suites, when I noticed something really, really odd. I picked up the Faith Hill dress to put on a girl, and it's label was archive!I thought this was really weird, so I visited a member I knew owned this dress--M_Themis. Her label said archive too! What's going on? Do you think it's yet another one of Stardolls glitches? Or could it be that the dress is hidden somewhere in archive/Stardoll is planning to re-release the dress?

The proof: (btw, I wanted to do that weird blocking out of the face thing for some reason. Let me have my fun!)

Digging Deeper into the Superstar Video

Hi guys,

Yes, I'm finally back! Although I was worried I was going to have to spend an extrab 3 days where I was, because my dad would rather a new tv than me... :p

Anyway, I went back to the Superstar Upgrade video,l where the whole Super_Girl scandal began, and I noticed a few things (please note: some of them have already been noted on this blog and others, but I will still list them anyway)

-- There are heaps of reviews within then first 10 seconds of the video. I want to know, have they been updated since Stardoll changed? (Changes: prices, methods of payment, ads, ect.) I'm sure that E! Entertainment would not think that Stardoll is an 'affordable way to shop online' anymore.

-- When Super_Girl changes to superstar, she goes from frowning to smiling. Money can't always buy you happiness! And, the way Stardoll is going, you're miserable either way.

-- Super_Girl was shown buying the whole LE collection for 0$! People might actually believe this can happen...

-- Anjd not to mention doing up all the rooms of her suite.. for 0$ too! Same as above. really.

-- In Super_Girl's designing room, there are very famous designs that are supposedly 'designed by her'. Were the owners of these designs aware that Stardoll was using their, essentially, copyrighted material? If not, Stardoll is breaking the law.

-- And where did she get the board with all the drawing on it? Surely their not allowed to show something that doesn't actually exist in the Stardoll universe?

-- When Super_Girl is in her Gothic room, she is wearing first season DKNY shoes! Now, how does that work when someone goes to find them, and finds out they have to spend hundreds for this?

So, what do you think of all this? And did you spot anything I missed?

I was checking Style.com when I saw that there were 30 new fashion shows, one of them DKNY!I saved all the pictures, but I will upload them all in another post.
So, the new collecrion has arrived and DK tells us to seriously think of becoming a female Jack Sparrow with her new navy looks.A lot of blue, red but also yellow anc grey and many many stripes.As for the clothing pieces, they remain as known: shorts, off-shoulder dresses, jumpsuits, short jackets and tops.
I don't know whether this collection is to come to stardoll or not, but I know that I want these clothes!What do you think?

Of coyrse, in this video, Stardoll is being original stardoll, with many lies.
At the beginning there's a new girl, an new member, non-ss, who is shown with frowned lips, like she's not having fun.Then, she buys superstar.Now she's smiling!By this way they make you think that only superstar is fun...Not for our wallets, I can assure you.Then, the girls visits starplaza.She's shown buying the hole LE collection...like you're able to do it with just 200 stardollars (the ammount of stardoll money she's shown buying).Then, she also buys DKNY,Miss Sixty and Baby Phat, but also making up and getting accesories and jewels.Then she's in her suite.Her closet is full of LE, only.But,( that can only be explained by magic) she still has money to full her house with expensive furniture, including interior.Oh how great!Also, when she's designing, the money from her disgns are beeing automaticaly transferred in her purse as soon as she designs!!!But, no, we can't blame stardoll, it's just advertising itself.Just imagine a girl waching this video, buying superstar sooo happy and then realize that real stardoll is nothing like the advertisment...

So stardoll, stop beeing so greedy!!!!
We know that behind this online community there are real people working, people that need to be paid for the job they do, but, beleive us, you would be able to get more costumers just by being nice!!!

Stardoll Party Update!

I held anotehr party today, and it was very successful! 5 people actually turned up, and it was really busy, and with a really interesting range of kind characters. The people that came were KCarmae, betterthatu, HSM123AHOLIC, M_Themis and Allison_Arg. They are all such lovely people, and we had an amazing time. The party function worked seamlesly for me. But, after half an hour of the party, it says that it will end the party, unless you top up the time. This will normally cost stardollars, but not right now!

Overall, when the function works, it is definately good!

OMG! Where's ImAliceCullen?

Unless I've gone completely mental, or I really cannot spell tonight, the beloved Stardoll user ImAliceCullen has gone missing! I went ask her about proceeding with an interview for the blog, but when I typed in her name, she doesn't exist! Odd or what? Here is a timeline of events, where it all started to go wrong. Well, not really a timeline, but a list of events in chronological order.

First, she stated in her guestbook that she was 'going on holiday. will be back in a week'. After a month, she had still not return. People started to wonder...

After about two months, she finally came back. No apology for our, or my, constant worrying. I always loved visiting her suite, and seeing how she would updat her amazing Twilight Saga rooms.

Today, I visited her, and she was gone!

Please can everyone try searching for her, just to check that I haven't gone insane? I can usually spell decently, and it normally works, so I don't know...

Hello again fellow Stardollians. I am back with yet another interview with Royalty! This time, well, I’ll let you guess. She’s been covergirl, and she runs Suicide Awareness. Who is it? MissMackenzie07! Her real name is Mackenzie, Mack to her friends, she is a 17 year old girl from the “oh so sunny” Scotland, and Stardoll is her passion! This is the interview where she reveals all, so you don’t want to miss it!

Hi Mackenzie! You’ve been a member of Stardoll for two years. What’s the first thing you remember buying?
M: Jeez, tough question! I am pretty sure it was the Ripped Hipster Jeans or the Black One Shoulder Top. That was the time when there was only one shop!

That is long ago! You recently had your exams. How stressful was it, and did you do well?
M: They were awful, apart from Drama. I've had a tough year, which has meant that I’ve been missing a lot of work, so I am a bit gutted about that. I haven’t had all my results back yet, but I did well in Drama, which is really the only subject I am enjoying at the moment.

It must be hard to deal with the amount of guestbook comments and requests you get. Do you ever get tired of being popular?
M: Well, when I became covergirl, I found it really hard having to deny so many people. I still have that problem now. I feel guilty because I don't like not accepting people, but when people add me with fake compliments or asking for favours, or with no message, I really don't see any point in being that person’s friend. As I have always said, I want friends, not a friend list.

I agree. Every single one of your clubs is so popular too, which must attract some attention seekers and troublemakers. Is it hard keeping everything under control?
M: Well, if I'm honest, I would prefer my clubs to more active! I know that sounds so strange when you see the number of members in the clubs, but I actually prefer smaller clubs with dedicated members, like TheRealSA, than big clubs when only two people reply to topics.

So, if I’ve heard correctly, you run Suicide Awareness. What motivated you to start this amazingly successful and very, very important cause?
M: It's a very, very long story. I got bullied at school, and abused at home, since I can remember, which left me very alone and unable to make friends, since I couldn’t trust people enough to let them in. This lead to self harming and attempts at suicide. The whole time I just wanted someone to listen to me, who actually understood what I was going through. So when my boyfriend committed suicide 6 months ago, I found myself with only two options; to just hate everyone for what had happened, or to try and change what was happening. I threw myself into SA for a few months, but then Stardoll asked me to change the name. This really hurt the cause, and the supporters, since I spent so much money and time spread SuicideAwareness. When we changed to TheRealSA, no one really remembered who we were, so that was when, in real life, I kind of broke down, since all I really had at the time was SA.

Have you ever had any nasty comments or abuse from other members? What do you do to deal with it, and yet still stand tall and be the inspiration that you are today?
M: Thousands! When SA first started, so many people accused me of making it up, or doing it for popularity. It was horrible. I was really upset because I had opened up and told everyone my story, and a few people used that against me. Even today people accuse me of being a liar and a fake. I would say it is easier to deal with, but it really isn’t. If I'm honest, I have no idea how I managed to deal with all the crap! I guess when people leave nice comments it sort of makes up for the bad.

It’s quite a personal question, but have you ever had the sort of times when you’re deeply and truly depressed, not just a few days of feeling blue?
M: I have been diagnosed as depressed a few times in the past few years, and that was hard. Especially when you don’t have anyone to support you. It just makes things so much worse. Stardoll is sort of my escape. I can forget about all the real life stuff and just disconnect. It’s the same with music. That’s why I am permanently attached to my laptop!

As Promised--Exclusive Party with MSM and more!

So, as I already told you guys, I threw a party with M_Themis, mirka_17, superoh, MissMackezie07 and so many more Stardoll celebrities with the new party function, for Stardoll Royalty only. So, to be honest, it needs a hell of a lot improving. But I guess that's why it says 'Test: Stardoll Royalty Only'. Oh, great. So we're your most valued members (aka the ones who spend the most money on there), so you decide to reward us by using us as your guinea pigs for great ideas that you just can't execute well. Fandiddlyantastic. Yay. Whoot. Whatever you want to say to express sarcastic happiness. Let me just say, most of the people who RSVPed showed up. But no one could see anyone else. I, myself, was able to see superoh for about 2 seconds. We were able to exchange hello's, and then she dissapeared. And apperently, I dissapeared on her screen, too. So, my verdict is not much good. I have arranged another 2 parties. Hopefully they will go better. But I have a feeling that when this si released to the rest of the Stardol lworld, it will cost about 20 stardollars. At the very least. Yet you have a very limited selection of things to decroate your really bad choice of party rooms in, and you can only invite up to 10 people. And the only party gift you can give is a tacky gold sign that says 'Party'. Yet more sarcastic happiness coming from me.

So, just plaster on the smiles at the rubbish parties, and then go and write a strongly worded mail to the Stardoll Staff. Maybe leave out the strong words.

Anyway, if you feel like you're being left out of the whole thing because you don't spend enough money on Stardoll, don't feel taht way. It's pretty rubish to be honest.

I'm so sorry--I feel like I've let you, me and this blog down! I've been trusted with this blog, and I feel as though I've taken it for granted. I'm so so sorry. I haven't been active recently. Some of my interviews are becoming extremely difficlut. But this is where the exciting news comes in...

I am making a club next week, for people I want to interview. It will be private. I had this idea when I tried to request ImAliceCullen (OMG!) so we could do the interview, but she has too many friends! If the club is private, the interview wont be leaked or seen early, and everyone's happy! Well, if everyone means me... :P

Hey, it's collectorcentre here! I have 3 little itty bitty bits of exciting news for the blog...

1) We finally found how to add writers! So no more waiting about a day for something to be published--we can do it when it's ready! This will probably mean we can get spoilers and exclusive information to you faster!

2) We have found a graphics designer (finally)! Her name is HilaryMad2659, so check out ehr suite! Her cool work is gonna be coming to this page very soon...

Well, if you have been following the blog from its start (wich I bet you don't but its Ok) you might remember the "Remember to do this...on Xmas time" post.
Well, by then I had got the info that there's a link, that gives you money at Xmas...Or something like that.

I think it was a previous stardoll campaign, so I don't know wether it works or not.
But right now it doesn't.Try it.You'll get a blank page with tiny littly black letters saying status=notXmas
